Had three lazy days in a layby just chilling out playing with the guitar and harmonica
The weather down here has been pretty dismal for the last few days.
This has allowed me the time in my van to do some rewiring and adding a few 12 volt sockets and usb ports. Next job on the list is to take off the satellite dish and fix a solar panel in its place.
I did after 30 years of not having a TV in my home put one into my motorhome a fortnight ago this was mainly to replace my DVD player which was only a 8" screen and way to small to sit there and watch without getting eye strain.
I got a 14" Manta 12volt DVD / TV From Amazon £130.00 it more than enough for me works fine off the standard tv/ radio airel and i must admit it's quite comforting to sit down and watch for a few hours in the evenings must be getting mellow in my old age.
This coming Sunday 7th August will be my first full year houseless it has passed quite quickly and the difference to my health and my mental state is amazing! i have not regeated selling everything i loved and owned just getting my health back was worth the sacrifice alone.
The freedom that this way of living brings you is priceless you don't need pots of money you just need the desire to be in control of your own life and be able to live without all the must have things that we all take for granted. I find it fascinating looking for a natural source of water or the water fountain in a small village or town. And either catching,shooting or finding fresh Roadkill, road side plants and fruits are a brilliant way of eating and a fantastic opportunity to bring you closer to more forfilling natural lifestyle. Try it if only for a fortnight's holiday you might like it.
