My New Van Inside

My New Van

While I was at St Michaels mount  looking on ebay  this autocruse Wentworth  came up for sale this is the only other van I would of considered buying I would  of much sooner have an other built to my spec than bought something that would of just done.
Two years ago I was giving a look around one of these and felt that it would be just the right type of van for my needs.
Anyway I was down south and this was over 400 miles away up north what do I do leave it or go see it must admit I left it for a few days thinking another will turn up in a month or two when winter sets in ?.
But curiosity got the better of me  and a phone called was made 11 hours later with only one stop for fuel I was within a few miles of the van.

Quick phone call to let them know I will call in the morning deal done I have a nice van and put my other in part ex.

Week 7 Saturday

Woke up this morning to another bright and sunny day  just 1 mile away from lands end in a layby  parking restrictions all over when you get closer.

One photo speaks a thousand words but just in case here's two.

Week 6 Friday

Stayed in tintagle overnight only £3.00 for the night and £3.50 for the whole day a fair price me thinks .Ok it's in a pub car park I don't think it's a problem it's flat enough for a good night sleep and after walking a good few miles yesterday  (Thursday ) I should sleep sound.I really don't know the coaches and delivery vans make it down here the roads are narrow even for my van.
On my way slowly towards lands end  which I find a dull  place if it wasn't for Senna Cove I would not go that far down . I'm near Wadebridge having a brew at the moment  wondering if I should visit Royal Cornwall, Prideaux Place,St Breock Downs Monolith or the Nine Maidens.
You never know with all the places down here that end with Head my luck might be in with the Nine Maidens. There's  Tintagle Head, Vale Head,Kellas Head, Gunner Head  Trevor Head, Dinas Head, Park head, Towan Head. Best go have a shower just in case.

Week 6.(Saturday and Sunday )

Saturday
Weather really wild  this morning so will be staying in layby till it brightens up, had a good slap up Chinese meal at a a friends house last night (friday) set me up for a goods night sleep.

The weather has changed a little for the better so moved my location to a much nicer view.

Now having my lunch sat overlooking widemouth bay  when I called hear a few years ago my van had no trouble getting up the steep road about 1 in 3 in places  this time it was first gear all the way mind you the van is carrying a lot more weight this time around.

Sunday
Spent the day at Boscastle see photos below the drive down to the town was to say the least hell for my poor van anyway but boy it was worth the drive have video the return will show at a later date.
It is now 6.30pm so in the car park preparing my tea which is a whole seabass filled with lemon grass and a little garlic and an amount of fresh veg from a local farm .

I would  like to say a big thank you to my friends  Dee and Andy that live in this buitifull part of the country for all the help ( and the food ) + the love and kindness that they have shown me over the last few years both of you are wonderful people and a pleasure  to know.
