Not everybody is happy with all this sunshine. Plus and my Amps Broke

Six weeks without any real rain good for us but not so good for the farmers some are already using the winter feed for the cattle now and have nothing to harvest to replace it.
The knock on effect could be quite catastrophic if we don,t get some rain soon, nearly all the crops are turning brown and being parched. However, the sun as brought the holidaymakers out in droves getting a parking spot is getting near impossible in most of the popular places plus with events and carnivals going on in every village it's just mayhem.
None of this really helps the farmers i, am just looking at both sides of the coin,  some of the events and concerts are held on some of the farmland so this would produce a bit of income and allow them to buy cattle feed from elsewhere.
Its Sunday so I'm off the do another car boot not got much left to sell now so a decision has to be made do i visit the charity shops looking for overpriced tat that no doubt has come from unsellable car booters stock or pay a visit to one of the many warehouses and try to find something different to sell. The thing i do notice is a lot of the punters seem to buy most of the crap that's just chucked on the floor and I am sure half of them don't even know what it is they are buying.

On to something else now i, am not having much luck with my amps first of all my little Line 6 microamp started playing up so in went a new speaker cone that did not fix it.
I tried to clean the circuit board with the cleaner you can buy that did not work either. I have had this amp for three years now so cannot complain, I also have a Hog 20 pig nose it's a nice amp but will not charge up when plugged into the 240-volt mains or when plugged into my inverter in the van it does, however, play when plugged in and turned on. Before this goes into the dustbin i will take out the two 6 volts batteries and wire the amp up to my leisure battery in the van.
I do have two other small amps that i can use one being a little jam jar amp and one being a little buskers amp both really suit my needs when in the van but lack any real power.
If i was to replace any of the amps i think it would be for another Line 6 Micro or a Rowland Cube.

All Nice Amps But Which One Will Work For Me.

A Day Doing A Car Boot From A Sellers View Point.

Done a few small car boots these last few weeks just to lighten my van and make some room in my cupboards.
I have been carrying things that have not seen the light of day for the last three years so a clear out is long overdue.
I was warned about a bit of pilfering going on, not with the buyers on this occasion but with other sellers going around shame when you cannot trust other stall holders.
Setting up a camera on the side of my van which was quite visible to everybody was a good deterrent and give me a bit of piece of mind when turning my back on the stall.
I have now got to the stage where I have no more goods to sell so do I buy more stock and carry on or stop,
I do enjoy the challenge of selling at a car boot, however, finding the right thing to sell is another matter. Watching the punters buying they do seem to home in on the cheap throw away rubbish that most probably does not even reach home. Then the other end of the scale there are the more experienced punters looking for the items of value that the sellers do not realize the true value of.
My dilemma is should I buy new stuff that would be brought as gifts for themselves or others more likened to a Market
stall than a car boot after all Christmas is just around the corner.
