Hi all I have just had a wheel rim split on me when pulling into a lay by fortunately i was only travelling at slow speed still quite scary though new rim £65 +vat tyre £100 +vat plus fitting.
Still could of been worst.
A touch more work done to the van got myself a Nice small armchair that just fits in nicely the only thing I need to do now is work out if having the fire cut in half and fitted on to the wall will make life any better for me .
this will mean rerouting the gas pipe to a gas bottle that is over on the other side of the van ,or do i link it to the original gas piping joining it to blown air heating system. The only thing I don't like about this is the cooker and the heating will be coming of the same bottle OK in the summer when gas usage is not heavy the gas locker only holds 2 x 7kg bottles. Next thing now is to find a carpet runner and a nice rug and then maybe putting a archway to separate the Kitchen area from the living /sleeping part.
