Thinking of selling up A WORD OF WARNING

Thinking of selling up A WORD OF WARNING
If you are thinking of selling up to restart your life elsewhere and having some work done on either of the property's  Please do not make the mistakes i did.
Please do not choose an unqualified builder no matter how much you know him and no matter how good his reputation is  it will come back and bite you in the Arse !.
Also Check you have the correct building certificates for any work done (Which you will not get if there unqualified ) All you get is BULLSHIT !!.
Do not relay on any body the builder gets in to sign off any appliance's that the builder has fitted check they are qualified to do the job and have the right qualifications for domestic work  Check with the gas register First.
I have done all of the above and had a living life of hell when the work was being done and now having to REPAY for the certificates and have the work rechecked by qualified people.
I do not for one minute have any concerns over the quality of the work done. This  builder would be a very successful builder and business owner  if he was to do things in a more professional manner.
And last of all.PLEASE I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH !
PLEASE DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING UP FRONT.
PLEASE DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING UP FRONT

Another Day At Anderton Boatlift!

Hello All

I am very sorry for plugging the boat lift again but at the moment it is the easiest place for me to getaway from my  daily routine which is keeping close to home.
Anyway there is always something going on around this area and not even 5 mins walk for me. ( I do go in my van and park up for the weekend)
So what was on the weekend then ! A small Craft Fair Here is a few photo's from Fri and Sat Unfortunately it was raining on Sunday so no photos of the activity's on the water just a few from a quick walk though the park.

Fridays Photos.

One that did not trade at the craft show but his work is well worth a look.

One Night Under Canvas

Hello great weather in Cheshire this week  I have not been able to get out much over the last few days.
Things are starting to move re the house sale now so still staying close.
However i did manage to get a night under canvas right down by the the rivers edge on Wednesday 10th June.
The birds stopped singing at 10.45pm then all the night life came shuffling about around the tent no doubt looking for any remnants of my supper, which was a large fillet of brown trout fresh from Sunday's little fishing trip. Then at 3.45 am the birds give me the best dawn Chorus i have ever heard.
Somethings are nice to wake up to and that rates number one in my book.

Not Get Much Better Than This.
